Rojas, a two-time All Western State Conference (WSC) First Team selection, finished the 2016-17 season with six triple-doubles, while ranking fourth in the state with 6.3 assists per game.

Ortiz was a two-time conference MVP and All-State selection at the point guard position for COC, setting the state record with 390 assists.

The Cougars won six conference championships in 2015-16, with women’s volleyball, women’s soccer, women’s basketball, softball, men’s cross country and men’s golf all bringing home WSC titles.
