Women's Golf Comes In Second At Conference Tourney
SIMI VALLEY, Calif. - College of the Canyons women's golf team carded a 332 on Monday afternoon at Simi Hills Golf Course in the Cougars second conference tournament of the season. COC is now 6-2 on the season and trails Santa Barbara who is 8-0 on the year.
COC turned in its best team score of the season, a 332, at COC's only home tournament of the year.
Canyons was led by sophomore Madison Lomas who turned in a 79, a season-best score. Sophomore Kaylie Sadlon also turned in her best 18-hole score of the season with an 82 and freshman Kathy Quock tallied an 85. Andrea Webster (86), Chelsea Reed (88) and newcomer Ashley Windsor (89) rounded out the Cougar scoring.
Canyons returns to action on Monday, Sept. 23 as they travel to Stockdale Country Club for the team's third conference tournament.
