Cougars Finish Sixth At Morro Bay Tournament
The College of the Canyon's women's golf team finished the two-day, 20-team Morro Bay Tournament in sixth place on Monday afternoon, turning in the 333 for a total of 676 (343-333).
MORRO BAY, Calif. - The College of the Canyon's women's golf team finished the two-day, 20-team Morro Bay Tournament in sixth place on Monday afternoon, turning in the 333 for a total of 676 (343-333).
Canada College won the events with a 634, followed by Western State Conference foe Santa Barbara City College. Saddleback College turned in a 655 and College of the Desert and Modesto College tied for fourth with a 658.
Kaylie Sadlon turned in the Cougar's best score with a 166 (81-85). Sophomore Ashley Windsor tallied a 168 (87-81) and sophomore Madison Lomas had a 169 (87-82).
COC returns to action on Wednesday, Oct. 9 for the Cougar's fourth conference tournament at San Dimas Canyon Golf Course.
