The Cougars were led by their middle hitters, Erica Magee, Camari McWright and Alexa Hesseldenz, who combined for 16 kills and a .609 hitting percentage.
COC setters Katie Rutecki and Emma Levanen combined to rack up 35 assists.
Rutecki also led the match with a career-high nine aces.
Canyons freshman outside hitter Emily Bible led the team with eight kills and a .375 hitting percentage. Bible also added four aces of her own.
Canyons (12-2, 2-0) will next travel to Citrus College at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9.
