COC Sophomore Ethan Walker has been named the 2015 WSC Male Runner of the Year.
The College of the Canyons cross country program put together another spectacular season, with a combined 22 runners from the men's and women's teams earning All-Western State Conference (WSC) honors.
Canyons sophomore Ethan Walker — the 2015 individual state champion and JC All-American — was also named WSC Male Runner of the Year.
In October, the men's team also ran to a third straight WSC Championships, while the women's team ran to a second place finish.
Results from the WSC Championship meet were subsequently used to determine All-Conference selections.

Freshman Joshua Tan and sophomore Joseph Rosales were both named All-WSC Second-Team.
Sophomores Zach Strader and Luke Contreras and freshman Carlos Huerfano and Mauricio La Plante were each named Honorable Mention.
On the women's side, sophomores Lexi Whitman, Amanda De Jesus, Lizeth Flores were joined by freshman Jessica Ruiz and Chelsea Wells as All-WSC First-Team honorees.
