Men's Basketball a 75-48 Road Winner at L.A. Valley

VAN NUYS— College of the Canyons won its second straight road game 75-48 at L.A. Valley College on Monday to conclude a four-game road trip.
The Cougars (11-9, 3-5) controlled the contest from the opening tip in a game where every player on the COC roster played and scored.
Andrew Henderson led Canyons in scoring once again, ending his night with 18 points and eight rebounds. Dillon Barrientos was next with 10 points and three boards.
The Cougars' bench chipped in with 31 points led by eight-point performances from Caden Arnold and Quincy Arms. Arnold also added eight rebounds in the game.
Canyons limited L.A. Valley (2-12, 1-2) to a 25 percent shooting mark and outrebounded the Monarchs by a 53-39 margin. L.A. Valley also recorded 21 turnovers in the game.
The 48 points scored by L.A. Valley represents the lowest opponent point total of the season for Canyons.
Monday's victory places COC a half game behind Santa Monica College (9-12, 3-4) in the Western State Conference (WSC), South standings.
With six regular season games remaining, Canyons returns to the Cougar Cage at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2 vs. Santa Monica.
