Koda put together a stellar two-year run with Cougars’ women’s golf program, leading Canyons to back-to-back state championships in 2018 and 2019.

The College of the Canyons women's golf team captured the program's second straight CCCAA State Championship on Monday at Morro Bay Golf Course. COC sophomore Haruka Koda also won the individual state title becoming just the third player in program history to do so. With the title, the women's golf team becomes the first COC program to win back-to-back state championships.
