COC freshman JoJo Roecker placed ninth overall with a two-day score of 153 (77/76).
The Cougars placed third at the two-day CCCAA Southern California Regional Championships to qualify for the State Championship event.
Roecker earned the honor after posting the lowest two-round total at that week's WSC Events.
COC freshman JoJo Roecker has now finished in the top four at four straight conference events.

COC freshman JoJo Roecker shot rounds of 77 and 84 to lead the Cougars on both days.
COC freshmen Adelrina Kim (pictured) and JoJo Roecker tied for the team lead with identical rounds of 75.
COC also finished runner-up in first Western State Conference event of the season.
The two-day event will also feature the first Western State Conference action of 2017, with Monday’s round counting toward the WSC season standings.
