2019 College of the Canyons Women's Volleyball News

The 2019-20 award winners are Elizabeth Gannon (women's volleyball), Jules Lavigne (men's golf), Una Stanisavljevic (women’s Tennis) and Kilian Zierer (football). Awards are based on academic GPA and leadership qualities.

Sophomores Grace Ferguson (University of Colorado at Colorado Springs), Elizabeth Gannon (CSU, Northridge) and Madison Martinez (Southeastern Oklahoma State University) each enjoyed brilliant two-year careers with the Lady Cougars.
COC sophomore middle blocker Grace Ferguson named to All-American, All-State and All-Western State Conference (WSC) teams to cap a brilliant Cougar career.

COC is playing in the postseason for a seventh straight season, with four of those appearances coming under current head coach Clay Timmons.

Canyons (5-6, 1-1) has won three of its last four contests and is tied for the No. 25 spot in the most recent California Community College Women’s Volleyball Coaches Association (CCCWVCA) statewide rankings.

The back-to-back wins have propelled Cougars back into CCCWVCA Top-25 rankings,
